Executive Board members volunteer, or are nominated, then elected by the membership. Board terms are for two years.

AGC Committees: The length of commitment depends on the committee. Committees make decisions for the task they were given and report to the Board.  Any AGC member may volunteer to be on a committee.

Board Meetings

  • Location & Time: The Board meets on the 4th Wednesday of the month, except:  June, July, or December.   Time: 3pm-5pm. Location: Announced in the AGC Garden Clippings newsletter.  AGC members are welcome to attend & address the Board.  To do so, please contact the AGC President to be added to the Agenda.

Standing Rules and By Laws

  • Standing rules and Bylaws were developed by the organization in 1950.  Periodic changes & updates are made by the Board.  Standing Rules & Bylaws are listed in the membership yearbook and on this website.
